What is an Internet Merchant Account?

The Internet merchant account is not at all like a bank account - it is more like a credit line. When your customers order online from your web site, the credit card information provided will be used to process the transaction. A "per-transaction" fee may also apply. Transaction fees can vary depending on product type

Many ecommerce service providers charge between 1.5%-15% of your sales revenue, additionally. However, Payment Online DOES NOT charge a "percentage" of your revenue.
