Before the launch of the Easynet bundled internet plans, the only way an Etisalat subscriber accesses the internet is via pay as you go, but Etisalat Easynet now offers a number of Internet bundles to meet different needs.

Etisalat Easynet currently offers three bundled internet plans that offer specific data access over a 30-day period, namely:

Etisalat 100MB Internet Bundle: This bundle offers you 30-day access to the Internet. However you cannot download or/upload data in excess of 100MB. Once you use 100MB, even if it is on the second day the internet bundle will expire. The Etisalat 100MB Internet bundle costs N1000.

The Etisalat 100MB Internet bundle may make sense for you if you do not use the internet very often. For example, if you just need internet access for checking your mails and chatting or for Facebook and Twitter updates, this plan may make sense. However, if you send or receive email attachments, or upload/download a lot on Facebook, you are advised to consider another Internet bundle.

Etisalat 500MB Internet Bundle: This bundle offers you 30-day access to the Internet with a data upload/download limit of 500MB. Once you use 500MB, even if it is on the second day the internet bundle will expire. Etisalat 500MB Internet bundle costs N3000. This is one of the best priced Internet bundle available in Nigeria today.

Etisalat 500MB internet bundle is okay for average users. If you require between 300MB and 1.5GB within 30 days, the 500MB internet will be the most cost effective option. If you do more than just chat and basic social networking on the internet, the 500MB plan is a great internet bundle for you.

Etisalat 3GB Internet Bundle: This bundle offers you 30-day access to the Internet with a data upload/download limit of 3GB. Once you use 3GB your internet bundle will expire. Etisalat 3GB Internet bundle costs 10,000 Naira.

Etisalat 3GB internet bundle is targeted at heavy users. If you require 1.5GB or activate the 500MB internet bundle more than 3 times within 30 days, then its time to upgrade to the 3GB internet bundle.
How to subscribe to Etisalat Easynet

To enjoy this flexible internet packages on Etisalat Easynet, you will require an Etisalat data enabled SIM and a USB modem. Both can be acquired at any Etisalat experience centre or shop near you at the cost of N14,500. You will then choose an internet bundle that meets your usage pattern. This will then be configured for you at the Etisalat centre. Note that to migrate to another package in future you will still need to visit an Etisalat shop for configuration. Ensure that there is internet coverage in your area before buying the modem.

The Internet bundles on Etisalat Easynet cannot be accessed via an internet enabled mobile phone. You must use the USB modem with the data SIM before you can access the flexible internet bundles on Easynet Mobile phones can only access internet on pay as you go basis. Etisalat currently charges 15kobo/kb on pay as you go internet browsing.
