Covenant University CU Portal/Online Admission Registration


Covenant University CU: Prospective students of Covenant University (CU) can obtain Application forms as from February of each year. The forms are available at Covenant University (CU) Bookstore or at any of the branches of Oceanic Bank, Spring Bank, Guaranty Trust Bank, Zenith Bank in Nigeria as well as Covenant University (CU) Community Bank for a fee of N5, 000.

Completed Application forms with photocopies of credentials should be returned to the point of collection two weeks to the date of sitting the Covenant University Scholastic Aptitude Test (CUSAT). Our Admission Brochure which comes with the Application package contains information on the date for the Aptitude test.

Online application forms are available at CU Portal for a fee of N5, 000. Payments for the on-line application forms can be made through any of the Banks stated above.

School Fees

Our school fees are very concessionary being a Christian Mission University desiring to make equal education opportunity to every capable citizen. The applicable fee depends on the programme a student is registering to study. Details of the school fees are contained in the admission brochure issued every year which is available on admission, the web and will usually included in the admission letter. Students are required to pay full fees on or before resumption.

Covenant University (CU) Undergraduate Admission Requirements

The minimum entry requirement for undergraduate programmes at CU are credit level passes in 5 subjects at the Ordinary Level examination of WAEC/NECO/NABTEB. The subjects must include English Language, Mathematics and one relevant Science Subject selected from the following group (Biology, Health/General Science, Agricultural Science, Physics, and Chemistry). These must have been obtained at not more than two sittings. Please note that there are other requirements that may be specific to a College and /or a Programme.

In addition to the above, candidates applying to CU must fulfill the statutory requirement of sitting for the UME examination of the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) examination in the year they intend to apply for admission. It is mandatory for applicants to attain the prescribed cut off score in the UME examination.
Moreover, prospective students of CU are required to undertake our two phase screening exercise i.e. the Covenant University Scholastic Aptitude Test (CUSAT) and the interview.
