Zain mobile internet is the internet service of Zain. Zain mobile internet offers you high-speed (3G) and moderate speed (GPRS/EDGE) internet access on your computers and mobile phones. Zain mobile internet is a reliable internet solution with flexible bundle service plan targeted on different categories of customers.

You can access Zain mobile internet directly on a GPRS/EDGE/3G enabled mobile phone. You can connect your desktop and laptop computer to the internet using a Bluetooth or USB enabled mobile phone. You can also connect your computer to the internet using a USB modem. Zain currently offer two types of USB modems: GPRS/EDGE modems and 3G modems.

You can buy Zain USB modems at Zain shops through out Nigeria. Each Zain modem bought from a Zain shop comes with a data enabled SIM with all internet settings preloaded. Zain GPRS/EDGE modems costs N8,200 while Zain 3G internet modems goes for about N10,000.

Zain’s internet rate is currently 15 kobo/kilobyte, however for a more affordable internet experience; Zain offers the following internet bundles:

Zain Day: 24 hours internet access of not more than 55MB at N500

Zain Lite: 30 days internet access of not more than 100MB at N1,000. This internet package is not recommended if you use more than 400MB within 30 days. You can get this Zain mobile internet package if you intend to access internet exclusively on your mobile phone like BlackBerry devices. However, if you intend connecting your computer to the internet via your mobile phone, this internet bundle will not be practical.

Zain Plus: 30 days internet access of not more than 1GB at 5,000 Naira. This internet bundle is the recommended monthly internet package if you access internet via GPRS/EDGE.

Zain Max: 30 days internet access of not more than 3GB at 10,000 Naira. This is the recommended monthly internet package if you access internet via 3G.

Zain Premium: 30 days internet access of not more than 6GB at N15,000. Recommended for heavy internet users.

You must migrate to any of these packages, before you can benefit from the price savings. If not you will be billed at the default rate of 15kobo/kilobyte. To migrate to any Zain mobile internet package simply load enough credit that will pay for the package you wish to migrate to and dial the appropriate migration code.
